Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants Programme 2025

The British Council will be launching the Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants 2025 in October, offering £85,000 for international partnerships to develop youth green entrepreneurship skills.
The focus is on strategic partnerships between UK institutions and local organisations in partner countries, co-designed and delivered green entrepreneurship skill development for young people (18–30) in the UK and partner country, and collaborative project delivery and sustained engagement.
The grants are part of the Climate Skills programme and support partnerships between the UK and Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and Viet Nam. Funding can be used to establish new collaborations or strengthen existing links between higher education institutions, TVET institutions, training providers, and non-governmental organisations, with emphasis on long-term sustainability.
The initiative aims to provide young people in both the UK and partner countries opportunities for green entrepreneurship and green work training, while also building institutional capacity and strengthening international connections.
Eligibility
>>The call will accept joint proposals from one lead UK institution and one lead partner country institution. Additional organisations may be included as part of a consortium.

Key details
>>Grant amount: the combined total budget available for each partnership is up to £85,000. Partners will be responsible for agreeing a cost split between both organisations and for detailing this clearly in the application budget.
