The final stretch for the Green Claims Directive is approaching: the last trilogue is now scheduled for June 23.
It is essential that co-legislators reach an ambitious and balanced agreement — without further delays !
🔍 Too many environmental claims remain vague, unverified, or even misleading. This undermines trust, disadvantages responsible actors, and distorts the market.
✅ The Green Claims Directive will bring clarity, rigor, and fairness by requiring that labels and claims be based on solid evidence and verified by an independent third party.
🤝 Together with our European partners, we urge EU policymakers to push forward and finalize this essential directive — long awaited by both citizens and responsible businesses.
Let’s not miss this opportunity to restore trust and support companies truly committed to the green transition!
